The Dove Story
That evening I was on my way home from college with my friend. He had to collect some books from the hostel, as we were running late he asked me to wait outside so that he could come soon after getting it and we wont miss the bus. Our college hostel was beside the National Highway. Vehicles rushing every now and then, busy people crossing road carelessly, children after school, a couple of lovers chatting and walking slowly... I was supposed to do nothing other than watching all these... Suddenly I heard a big sound! It was some electric sparks from the crowded cables above me. I looked up and saw a dove sitting in one of the cables. Below, an open drainage and an electrocuted dove in it. Our bus came and my friend came running... I struggled to turn around from back side of the bus... The dove above was still looking down unaware of its mates death.. may be the dove must have waited there the whole day....
